As of March 8, 2021 individuals who are Venezuelan nationals (and individuals without nationality who last resided in Venezuela) who are currently residing in the United States can file initial applications for Temporary Protected Status, (“TPS”), if they see the eligibility requirements.

*You must be able to demonstrate continuous residence in the United States as of March 8, 2021. If you enter the U.S. after this date, you will not be eligible. 

You must file for initial TPS within the 180-day registration period that began March 8, 2021.  You may also apply for Employment Authorization and a Travel Document
